Bio.
Kurami and her brother died in a car crash and they wandered around for a while. Eventually a shinigami came for them as they were about to transform. Kurami insisted that her brother be sent first, but as the shinigami sent her brother to Seireitei the last bits of her Chain of Fate disappeared, turning her into a hollow. Panicking, she unknowingly killed the shinigami in an attempt to escape. She wandered around the living world until she saw another hollow emerging from a garganta, curious, Kurami rushed forward with what she now knew was sonido and pushed past the hollow, into the garganta. Once in Hueco Mundo, Kurami discovered the Forest of Menos, where she would spend several years eating hollows. She continued wandering around the desert when she became an Adjuchas. Aizen found her injured in a cave as a Vasto Lorde and offered to make her stronger. She accepted and Aizen turned her into an Arrancar via the Hougyoku then took her to Las Noches. Kurami fought her way through the ranks and became the Tercera Espada. One day, she was sent on a mission in the living world to assess the shinigami on duty and bring a report back. As she watched the shinigami take on a weak hollow, she felt a twinge of nostalgia. In confusion, she searched through what little memories she had of her human life and suddenly it clicked. That shinigami was the brother she had lost! Kurami emerged from hiding and approached the shinigami, who raised his sword cautiously, facing the new threat. She muttered a quick apology then grabbed him and took him to Hueco Mundo. Once they got there, she brought him to Aizen and asked him to hollowfy her brother. He agreed but on the condition that he could 'tweak' certain qualities in her brother. She agreed but once Aizen had finished, her brother was unrecognisable. To her dismay, Aizen deemed it a failed experiment and killed him with a kido blast as Kurami screamed. Aizen exited the room leaving Kurami alone with her dead brother. She rushed to his side and as his body was disintegrating, she took the bracelet around his wrist to remember him by. Many years later, she ran away from Las Noches and Hueco Mundo and is currently hiding in the Living WOrld.
Zanpaktou
Her sealed zanpakuto is a regular katana with a blue hilt and the guard is shaped like a snowflake.

Release
Kurami tosses her blade into the air saying the command. Then, after she finishes saying it, the blade breaks into 2 pieces while the hilt and guard vanish. The 2 pieces cross over each other to form a cross, then burst into sparks which fall around Kurami. Cold winds and snow whip up around her as she transforms.
Zanpaktou Released Form
Her mask fragments spread across the top half of her face with the bottom-middle of it becoming the top-half of a beak. The top of it forms a sort of crest, giving a more bird-like appearance, also, some of her bangs fall on the mask. Two huge, shaggy wings grow from her back, her feet turn into talons with sleek black feathers covering her legs up to her thigh and her nails become visibly sharper and longer. Her longcoat now has ragged edges and sleeves, her mid-thigh length skirt also has ragged edges and she now sports a short top ending above her hollow hole (which is on her stomach).
Abilities
Other than her original abilities getting stronger, Kurami gains a few extra attacks when she goes into Resurreccion.
- Weather Manipulation: Through certain gestures, Kurami can summon blizzards and use them against the enemy
- Presa del Ártico: Meaning Arctic Barrage, is an attack that she gains when she enters her first Resurreccion. Several shards of sharpened ice are launched at the target from her wings, it has enough fire power to completely destroy a huge building from fair distance away in one shot
Second Resurreccion
Kurami enters her second form by painting marks on her body, using a paint-like substance that comes from her nails (or claws, depending on how you look at it). It is basically the same as her first release except parts of her mask break off, leaving behind the half-beak part and a bit going up the centre of her face, flaring out above her hairline, her sclera becomes black and her clothes are now jet black. Also, Kurami's claws are tipped with a lethal poison.
Abilities
In her second release, her original abilities grow even stronger and she gains more attacks. Also, she still has Weather Manipulation and 'Presa del Ártico' at her disposal in her second release form. Her greatest strength is sonido.
- Lethal Poison: The poison on Karumi's claws can paralyze and kill the victim only in the span of a few seconds. Unfortunately, the poison can only be used about every 10 minutes
- Desaparición de Glaciares: By channelling her reiatsu, accompanied by a chant 'Diosa de las Nieves, Rey del Hielo, apelo a usted! Préstame tu poder, así que puede destruir mi enemigo! Congelación de los océanos, los cielos lloran! Desaparición glaciares!', Kurami can trap the target in an ice pillar that infiltrates the victim’s body and soul, freezing its internal organs as well as its skin and reiatsu
